Recently, we just finished our journey since early February walking chapter by chapter through a study of Christ’s righteousness on our behalf and how to appropriate His power in the fight against sin.  To be certain, we are in a fight for our very lives – yet we fight together, and in Christ our victory is sure.  We walked chapter by chapter through the book The Enemy Within, by Kris Lundgaard.  The book uses scripture as its guide with many references throughout, and we could see how the word of God is instrumental in our battle with sin.

Previously, last fall, the men of MEC went through a study of the sins that infect and mark each of our lives.  We saw the commonality of our struggle and the depth to which these sins run within us. 

These recent studies have been hard, even scary at times – yet the men who participated felt that it was one of the best small groups we have ever had. 

All men are encouraged as we pick up our next study in the Fall.  More details to follow. . .
