This is a list of our current announcements. We update this page regularly, so check back often!

Communion: We will observe the sacrament of the Lord's Supper in our worship next Sunday, February 26, 2012. The sacrament is for all those who have made a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and are regular worshippers in good standing in a church that proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are unsure, please speak with the pastoral staff or the elders. All are encouraged to use the coming week for private worship and prayer in preparation for the supper.

Family Night Program: Our Spring session of Family Nights will continue on Wednesday evenings, with refreshments served at 6:15 PM in Fellowship Hall and small groups for men, women and children meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The women will be finishing the last part of Chapter 13 of War of Words by Paul Tripp and beginning a new Bible study, using the book, Prayers of the Bible, by Susan Hunt. In preparation for the new study, read Psalm 145. If you haven't been a part of the women's study group before, this would be a good time to join in!

WIC Monthly Gathering: The Women In the Church are beginning a new season of WIC by answering the call to be good stewards of our church property. WIC will meet at the church at 10 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2012, for brunch and a time of fellowship, followed by a time to walk around the church and evaluate the needs that we as women can meet. All women of the church are invited to come. Please bring a brunch snack to share if you can, and bring your ideas and input to share as well, as we learn how we can be daughters of the King in this manner.

PresWIC Winter Newsletter: Printed copies of the PresWIC Winter Newsletter are available on the table at the back of the worship center. It is published by our Tennessee Valley Presbytery Women In the Church Council, and it has lots of good information. The newsletter is also posted on our WIC bulletin board and has been emailed as an attachment to all of our MEC women who have an email address.
