Deacon's Fund

The Deacon's Fund is set up for anyone who may have a need, primarily those in our church body, but also of those outside of our church body who may have a need. The fund is separate from our church budget and is not funded by it. It is funded by love offerings (over and above our tithe) from those that the Lord has given a burden to help those in need. Obviously, our ability to help those who have financial needs is dependent on those who are generous with the blessings that God has given us.

The fund is administered by the deacons of our church (hence the name Deacon's Fund). The deacons evaluate and pray about each need on a case by case basis and help where appropriate and fund allow. Those who are in need or know of anyone with a need are encouraged to contact any of our deacons or the Elders. Our deacons at this time are Ron D. and Joe B. The fund has helped with utility bills, medical needs, food, car repairs just to name a few. Anyone who would like to contribute to the fund may write a check to the church and designate it to the deacon's fund, or you may drop an offering into the collection box at the back of the worship center.

The Lord has blessed many people through this fund and not just the recipients. Read 2 Corinthians Chapter Nine. We truly believe the blessings God has given each of us are not just for our own personal benefit, and as we share those blessings with others they grow to be much, much more than we could ever imagine, and not limited to only earthly possessions. One of the most rewarding things for anyone who has been a deacon of this church, is to see the love and generosity of this body of believers. may God richly bless all who have given to the needs of others.
